This is indeed a Beauty to Behold!! It is not a large stone compared to many of my others, but it by far the most realistic picture of a wintry scene that you will ever see outside of an art gallery or an actual photograph.

There is a fabulous 3-D quality to this pendant. There are hills, with shrubs or trees, browned by winters icy breath; dendritic plants sheltering at the bottom of the hills; a very snowy hillside in the background, and, to top it all off, a blueish-gray wintry sky. What wonders Nature has wrought on this stone!!! It is very easy to imagine oneself walking through this Winter Wonderland.

This cabochon is an extremely high grade of Owyhee Jasper, and, needless to say, very rare and difficult to come by. It is definitely an heirloom quality piece.  This pendant is set in a 14k g/f wire wrapped designer setting.

Measurements: 1-3/4 inches tall, 15/16 inch wide, and the bail will take up to a 3mm chain or Omega.
